Council meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Monday of the month. Meetings are normally held in the Memorial Hall and are open to the public. During Coronavirus restrictions, meetings were held virtually, via Zoom. Zoom meetings were open to the public.
The Agenda for the next Council meeting will be posted below. The minutes for this year’s meetings are also below. You can view the Meeting Archives pages for the minutes for previous years’ meetings, including Annual Parish Meetings (held in April) and Annual Meetings (held in May).
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and consequent Government lockdown, Parish Council meetings were suspended in April, May and June 2020. In line with revised Covid-19 regulations, the Annual Parish Meeting due to be held in April 2020 was also suspended; the Annual Meeting due to be held in May 2020 was postponed to May 2021. Ordinary Parish Council meetings resumed virtually in July 2020.
In place of the Annual Parish Meeting 2020, the Chairman provided an Annual Report summarising the Parish Council’s activities for 2019-20, available in the meeting archives.
Due to continued Covid-19 restrictions on public meetings, the Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for 8pm on Monday 19 April 2021 was held remotely via Zoom.
The coronavirus regulations allowing remote Parish Council meetings ceased from 6 May 2021. The Parish Council can therefore no longer meet virtually. The June and July meetings of the Parish Council were cancelled pending the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions. Parish Council meetings resumed on 2 August 2021.
The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 4 October 2021 at 8pm in Plaxtol Memorial Hall.
