PLOTS is the name of the village allotment association. Originally founded in 2009 by Jane Denham, the association began digging in earnest in March 2013, when the lease was signed for a strip of land provided by the Fairlawne Estate (via the Parish Council).

Today this peaceful site in the centre of the village is home to diverse crops, ranging from tomatoes, potatoes, radishes, beans, beetroot, squash, pumpkins, peas and onions, to sunflowers, goose-gogs, soft fruit and more unusual plants such as Feverfew. A valuable addition to the village, it is hoped that the allotments will continue to enhance local wellbeing and community spirit for years to come.
