Marius Carboni

I rejoined the parish council in the May 2011 elections after a four year gap. I have lived in this area of Kent for nearly 30 years, and am married to a local Plaxtol girl Anna. We have three sons, a cat, four chickens and occasionally a sheep or two! My profession is the music business and since leaving EMI as their head of press and promotion 15 years ago, have run my own Pr and marketing consultancy specialising in the music industry. I also lecture at two universities, and recently had a book and PhD published on these subjects. I was part of a group which put together the Plaxtol Parish Plan and Plaxtol Design Statement and the more recent Plaxtol Planning Update, all published on this website. I care very much for our parish and am especially concerned with the environment and speed on our country roads. The councillors that were elected in 2011 are a superb group of people, all with a wide range of skills which the parish is already benefitting from. It is a privilege to be a parish councillor for Plaxtol.
